	Description and Race Plans
	We liked this filly as soon as we saw her.  She has the compact and strong look of her father, Clodovil, and had the same swagger he displayed when walking.  Throwing Roses is a very well boned horse, which leads us to believe she will be a solid 2YO type. She is a light bay in colour, and has already displayed a sharp manner at our pre-training yard.  She is the sort who wants to get on with things, and is light on her feet and quick to pick up on what is required of her. This filly has already raced twice this season, finishing second on both occasions.  Her Ripon debut saw her only going down by a short-head, and then she bumped into a Listed Class filly on her next run. She was Ollie Pears' first 2YO runner of the campaign and he is delighted with the way she has knuckled down and taken to racing so well.  He commented that she is very well put together and had an interesting pedigree with plenty of winners running through the dam line.  He believe's that she will be even better when stepped up in trip as her Mother won at 7f and 1m 4f. The plan for Throwing Roses at the moment is to gt a win into her in a Maiden, and then we will look to take the Novice and then handicapping route with her.  She acts on both soft and firm ground, and is incredibly robust.
