Description and Race Plans
This bay filly has a very laid back temperament and was able to cope with the hustle and bustle of the sales ring particularly well.  She isn't huge, but is still of a decent size, and holds herself very well.  Compact and athletic, we expect Miss Starry Eyed to grow further through the winter period.

We were drawn to this daughter of Misu Bond for two primary reasons - firstly she has a decent full brother and secondly she should make up into an early sort.  As a full sister to Pint Size, she has every chance of replicating his success as a 2YO - being one of the top progeny of the sire in his first years matings.  Pint Size has won three times and been placed a further six times as a two-year-old, and despite being on the small side, he has been very successful.  This filly is probably bigger than her brother (which we see as a plus point) and we are hopeful she will possess his speed and be a real 'two-year-old type' for shareholders, providing plenty of fun through the flat season.

This filly has good confirmation and a very willing attitude.  She walks well, and after getting her back to our pre-training yard she has proved to be a very fluid and possesses very good trot and canter movement.

Carol, the head lass at the pre-training yard said "She's been really great to deal with since she got here.  We have lunged her in the indoor school and she is easy to manage and goes well, especially when you ask her to pick up the tempo."

She is now at our pre-training yard in Lancashire, and will be assessed and then broken during the latter part of 2011, before joining Derek Shaw in Wiltshire.  Even though the filly will not be racing until May 2012 at the earliest, we will start reporting on her progress from late 2011, so that we can capture the lunging, breaking and first rides up the gallops for shareholders.

She will then start her race training in Wiltshire.  The exact time at which she goes to join Jeremy at his yard in Sutton Veny, will be dependent on the progress the filly makes at the pre-training yard, but if she is an early sort as we expect, she should be with Derek at around the end of February.  If everything goes to plan, and the filly is far enough forward both mentally and physically, she will have her racing name registered, have plenty of gallop experience and be stalls trained prior to March, with the intention that she will be ready to race once the 2012 turf season starts in earnest for the juveniles in May or June 2012.
How to book a share or find out more

We find that most shareholders will wish to speak to us regarding the racehorse before they join the syndicate.  We would urge potential shareholders to call us and and speak to one of our syndicate managers.  You will learn more about the horse and understand exactly what to expect from your ownership.

Its important you know exactly who you are dealing with, what we will deliver, and what the expectations are for the horse, rather than you be disappointed at any stage.  The key to a successful syndicate is a good horse and great communication with the shareholders, and we strive to provide both.

Either call 0845 8381532 for an informal chat, or contact us via email.  If you want to proceed we will send you a Syndicate Agreement which lays out your full entitlements in detail.  You simply need to sign the agreement, pay the up-front share cost and organise the monthly training payments to become part of the syndicate.
