Description and Race Plans |
|
|
| |
This mare is five, and stands an impressive sixteen, almost seventeen hands.
She is by one of the leading National Hunt sires, Karinga
Bay and is currently in full training.
This imposing Chesnut filly (over 17 hands) was bought at
the Doncaster sales in May 2009, and has been broken and has
been riding away since 2010. She has been racing under
rules in 2011 in order to educate her and teach her about
racing in Bumpers and a couple of Novice Hurdle races.
She ran very green the first two times but wasn't disgraced
and put together a very nice performance the third run at
Carlisle when staying on well over an inadequate trip and
getting close to some decent types.
She is described by trainer Philip Kirby as the sort that
will make up into a chaser in time. She has already
impressed her jockey Richie McGrath, on whose advice we are
building her up for a chasing career in the second half of
2012. She showed a very willing attitude and has
improved for every run so far in her career, which is an
encouraging trait at this stage in her development.
Her pedigree shows she is out of a winning mare, and Karinga
Bay is now one of the more sought after sires of National
Hunt prospects. Her pedigree suggests she will be best
seen in hurdle and chase races from two-and-a-half to three
miles. Her mother, Castle Lynch won EIGHT races over
timber, including point to point runs from the age of four.
This filly has a full sister in training called Karina
Lynch, aged five, who has raced once so far over fences -
was leading at the last fence in a point to point when
unseating, but appears to have the some ability.
The
plan for this mare is to give her further hurdles race
experience in late Summer in
Autumn after which she will start her chasing career.
All the hard work has been done with this very likeable and
enthusiastic mare, and we expect to reap the dividends of
this time and dedication from August 2012 onwards.
We like this mare a lot, and we expect her to make her
chasing debut in the Autumn of 2012, a discipline which
should see her make her mark and for which she is bred.
We currently have a small group of real National Hunt
enthusiasts in this mare so far, and room for only a couple
more - she's a great horse to be involved with and will
bring plenty of entertainment and thrills as she develops
over the next two to three years. We hope to have a
very nice handicap chasing prospect on our hands by the end
of 2012!
She is available to view, should you wish to visit her. Contact us

How to book a share
or find out more |
|
|
| |
We find that most
shareholders will wish to speak to us regarding the
racehorse before they join the syndicate. We would
urge potential shareholders to
call us and and speak to one of our
syndicate managers.
You will learn more about the horse and understand exactly what to expect from
your ownership.
Its important you know exactly who you are dealing with,
what we will deliver, and what the expectations are for the
horse, rather than you be disappointed at any
stage. The key to a successful syndicate is a good
horse and great communication with the shareholders, and we
strive to provide both.
Either call 0845 8381532 for an informal chat, or
contact us via email. If you want to proceed
we will send you a Syndicate Agreement which lays out your full
entitlements in detail. You simply need to sign the
agreement, pay the up-front share cost and organise the
monthly training payments to become part of
the syndicate.
